Slide the protective acrylic roof up along the hanging cable, lift out the removable feeding cups for a quick rinse, and spray the smooth interior down with plain water or a mild wildlife-safe enzyme detergent.

How do I encourage bluebirds to enter the box?
If your bluebirds are hesitant to enter the box, you can temporarily remove one of the sides. Once your bluebirds are comfortable eating from the feeder, simply replace the side and they should now understand that the way to their food is entering one of the holes.
