Ever wonder what goes on inside your squirrel nesting box? Capture the secret life of squirrels with the Squirrel House & Nutty Mansion Camera Roof Swap Kit. This kit lets you upgrade your existing squirrel house with a motion-activated Wi-Fi camera and solar-powered charging system—no need to buy a whole new setup.  Just select the color of your roof and we will send you a new roof with the box preinstalled.  All you have to do is remove your old roof and attach the new one. Add a Micro SD (8GB-128GB) to the camera and record motion activated videos (Videos can be recorded in live view without the addition of a Micro SD card). Otherwise a static image will be captures upon motion trigger. 

Easy Installation
This kit comes with a brand new roof, camera box, camera, and solar panel.  The roof will come with the camera housing box pre-installed.   You simply remove the screws from your existing roof, place the new roof on the Squirrel box, re-attach screws, and you are done. No major tools needed!

Solar-Powered Simplicity
The included solar panel powers the camera via a 14-foot and 3-foot chew-resistant USB-C cable. Mount it directly on the housing box to minimize cord exposure, or place it up to 14 feet or 3 feet away using the included bracket.

• Pivoting mount for optimal sun angle
• Battery housed inside the solar panel (not the camera)
  
• Clean with a soft brush and water as needed

Please Note: During the winter months, the solar panel may not keep the battery fully charged.  Please ensure the solar panel is mounted in a convenient location to ensure easy access to the battery for charging.

Important Setup Notes (Please Read Before Purchase)

• Connect the camera to the Bird Lover app before securing it to the roof
• Ensure the power switch is ON before enclosing the camera
• The solar panel must remain connected for camera operation

The camera system operates on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi frequency band.  Please ensure you have adequate signal strength at your current nest box location.  Otherwise, the camera will not function properly.
