My birds just love the bug, nuts & fruit cylinders. I have bluebirds, downy and ladderback woodpeckers, cardinals, nuthatches, blue jays, etc. and they all partake.

I've purchased multiple large cylinder feeders. The birde love them especially the bugs and nuts cylinder. I even set it on the ground for the chickens to feed on too. Never disappointed in any purchase I've made from JC's wildlife.

Good bang for the buck

Nice bang for the buck. It is substantial and the birds like it...especially carolina wren. We do use a baffle to block rain. I will order this item again. If you have squirrels, make sure you open the package before they do.

Get the 12 pack....save a ton of $$. Holidays come early for your birds.

This product contains mealy worms (and other bugs) so it has a more universal appeal. This is hugely popular with my feathered buddies. Woodpeckers dominate but the smaller birds sneak attack whenever possible. Get the cylinder feeder combined with the large cover. expensive? (initially yes....but they last forever and birds love the shelter, and you have to do it once....).

Really Attracts the Birds

After decades of feeding the birds sunflower seeds in a tube feeder and a mix on the ground, I finally attracted Bluebirds and Pileated Woodpeckers with these cakes. They enabled me to attract Bluebirds without Mealworms.
