I chose this Bat House for the "Poly" lumber construction. It should stand up to bat pee far longer than natural wood. It is heavy though. I am having to rethink my mounting plan. The packing list shows 33 lbs. A few plastic shavings remained on the partitions. Easily cleaned out with a small towel or brush. Once mounted, I hope the bats will like it too.
Many birds will eat this blend. One of these 5lb cylinders will last between 6 and 10 days. I wish they were cheaper. I do buy them in quantity, so I get a discount that way.
